Let's just say I find this disturbing... as a business person, I am always concerned about cybersecurity. As long as there is personal identifier information in the StatsCan data repository, it'll be easy for hackers to scoop up all kinds of data that they'd otherwise have to hack individual systems to get. Identity theft made VERY easy. Unless blockchain technology is being used to encrypt individual files...

I believe that StatsCan and the organization(s) being compelled to provide the information have an obligation to inform every Canadian whose data has now been transferred to StatsCan without our knowledge or consent.
